We make footwear that helps your feet feel better, using materials that would otherwise go to waste, like upcycled wine cork and by-product shearling. Close to where their materials come from. Our slides and mules are handcrafted in small, family-owned factories outside Porto, Portugal, using Portuguese cork.
Our Shearling Slippers are made in Kyrgyzstan, where the shearling is sourced and tanned, so they go from high-altitude pasture to finished pair in one place.
Our slides and mules are made for it. Their hugflex™ strap gives your feet gentle compression, snug but never tight, to support circulation after a workout, a long walk, or just a long day. Think of it as a really good hug for your feet.
Because the best materials are sometimes the ones being thrown away. Our slide footbeds are made from unused and upcycled wine cork (about 9 corks per pair), which naturally resists impact, sweat, odor, and water.
Our slippers use Tien Shan shearling, a by-product of sheep raised for meat in Kyrgyzstan. Nothing is raised for its fur. It's dense, warm, and so soft you'll forget to take them off.
Snug, not tight. For our slides, pull them on like socks and shimmy your toes up to the top. Our Shearling Slippers are even easier: just step in, and the elastic closure hugs your foot, with nothing to fasten or adjust.
Pro tip: try any new pair on a rug or carpet first, since we can only accept returns on unworn shoes.
