"I was very excited to receive the sandal after a 6-week wait. Walking in the house was very comfortable; however, when I went for a walk outside, the slapping sound was so loud I couldn’t ignore it. It sounded like I was wearing flip-flops, only MUCH louder because the footbed is cork, not rubber. By then I couldn’t return the shoe. Perhaps the problem would not occur with the Shaw, which has a wider strap across the top, but I am not going to chance purchasing another sandal that I will be unable to return."
