    Crafted from upcycled wine cork, harvested from cork oak forests in Portugal every nine years without harming the tree. Water-safe, cork-on-cork construction molds to your foot, naturally absorbs impact, and provides subtle arch support without added weight. Cork is a natural material and may show minor separation or flaking with wear—this is normal and does not affect function or comfort.

    A patented compression stretch-knit that wraps the foot like a sock. It holds without pinching, flexes as you move, and never needs to be broken in. The Shaw’s longer strap provides a secure ride—it performs more like a shoe, in slide form.

    Fit

    Our straps are designed to hold the foot snug but not tight, like a really good hug. We recommend pulling them on like socks, shimmying your toes to the top of the slide for a secure, comfy, strapped-in fit. Measurements below are based on a size 38.

    "About to order another pair! These are a bit more supportive than the rubber Birks but way more flexible than the cork Birks which is really nice. I also have wide-ish feet but Birks are kinda awkwardly wide and the stiff upper either rubs or it loose - so for my house shoes I'm pretty excited about these.     "I love these slides! I have always been a Birkenstock girl but have been having issues with some plantar fasciitis and other foot issues that those seemed to make angry. I love the way these hug your feet and have just enough support without being crazy orthotics. My feet have no issue after wearing these to walk around, stand, and they are cute on top of it all.
